Saturday's Trophy game with Cleethorpes got called off because of standing water. It's on Tuesday night now, 7.45pm kick-off, at the Fibrus Community Stadium.

This one's for Reds fans who were going to Saturday's Trophy game.

The first round tie with Cleethorpes Town got called off on Saturday morning. The club said there was standing water and "serious safety concerns for players and supporters" with Storm Boelo coming in.

It's now on Tuesday night, 27 October, at the Fibrus Community Stadium, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

These two have had a go at each other already this month. It was 1-1 in the league at Workington three weeks back, Josh Walker scoring for Cleethorpes and Brennan Dickenson getting Reds level. If it's level after 90 on Tuesday, it goes straight to pens. Winners get £3,000, losers £775.

Reds got here by beating Blyth Spartans 4-2, and Cleethorpes battered Lancaster City 5-1. Billy Barr's lads won 2-1 at Bamber Bridge last weekend, and the new keeper, Alfie Scales, is due his first home game. Adam Fairclough, on loan from Morecambe, could get a run out too. Reds are sixth in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

There was other news on Saturday as well. Brian Dawson is stepping down as head of the academy. The club said he'd been "instrumental in the development of the club's academy since the role was first established". The club's going to run the youth side itself for now and says it'll name someone to replace him in due course.

There's a yellow wind warning out for Cumbria on Tuesday, mind, so keep an eye on the weather.
